Meet partner Leiden University at the Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS) 2020

JEMS (Joint European Magnetic Symposia) is one of the most important and comprehensive conferences on magnetism in Europe, covering a broad range of topics from fundamental and applied magnetism to novel magnetic materials. Due to the current circumstances, this year's event will take place online from 7 - 11 December 2020.

The SUSMAGPRO consortium will be represented by Brenda Miranda Xicotencatl, Sander van Nielen and Prof. René Kleijn of project partner Leiden University. They will hold a presentation on opportunities for the future production of Nd-Fe-B magnets, taking environmental and supply constraints into account.

In the project, the team at Leiden University is conducting an ex-ante Life Cycle Asessment (LCA) on the technologies developed, collecting relevant data and parameters regarding the supply and demand of RE-materials and advising on the most environmentally promising technology development options.

Don't miss the chance to get to know them and learn more about LCA in SUSMAGPRO at JEMS 2020!
